Where to play beer pong in Koh Phangan?
After a really nice day with my friend, Jenn (see story: “Travel Friendship: Reunion for the third time”), Akhi and I were heading back towards Haad Rin where we left our luggage after checking out after the full moon party last night. We rode ca. 20 minutes outside of Haad Rin with a rented motorbike. We went past a hostel (Phangan Arena) that looked like a fun place to be and that was at around 11 pm. Akhi and I decided to stop and check it out. Yes, they had beer pong and so we stayed and had the time of our lives playing beer pong and meeting other travelers – it was mainly Germans but okay, haha.
What we didn’t think of whilst having the time of our lives was that we still didn’t have a place to stay for the night, and after we left the hostel at around 3 am, we decided to head back to Jenn’s place and stay in the open hut by the beach for free. It wasn’t very comfy that night and the sudden strong rain and wind didn’t help, but we survived. That night I didn’t see another option with my very drunk friend, haha.
Finally found a place to play beer pong in Koh Phangan!
