GENERAL TRAVEL INFO

On arrival a passport is required valid for three months beyond the length of stay and issued within the past 10 years is required by all nationals except EU nationals holding a passport or national ID card, which is valid for the duration of stay.

EU nationals are not required to posses a return ticket or show sufficient funds.

Roads and public transportation are excellent.

SECURITY

  • No risk traveling to Germany.
  • There is a threat of terrorism.
  • Violent crime is low.

Ensure that personal belongings, including passports and other travel documents, are secure at all times.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Visas for Germany are not required by all:

  • Nationals of the EU countries for an unlimited period.
  • Nationals of Australia, Canada and the USA for stays not exceeding 90 days in a six-month period.

Costs can range, check with your consulate. EU passport holders enter for free.
