How many people can use this ticket ? How much does it cost ?
The Bayern ticket can be used for groups up to 5 people. The more in the group, the cheaper it gets. Only $10 per person is a pretty good deal when traveling around Germany.
Traveling as a family
If you travel as a family, your kids or relatives (<15 years) can travel for free.

Either online under: https://www.bahn.de/p/view/angebot/regio/regionale-tickets/bayern/bayernticket.shtml
or at the local counter at the main central station. You might be charged 2 USD extra as a consulting fee.
How long is the Bayern ticket valid ?
The ticket is valid from 9:00am until 3:00am the next morning.
Which means of transportation can be used ?
With the Bayern ticket, you can use any means of local transport such as trains (RE, RB), tram, buses or the underground. Select journeys allow you to even travel to another state called Baden-Württemberg or the country of Austria.
What to do after you purchase the ticket ? Avoid the fine.
Once you purchase the ticket, you have to write your name on the backside. Don’t forget because otherwise there will be a fine.
